CRUSH LOAD Privacy Policy (PC · Steam edition)
CRUSH LOAD Privacy Policy (PC · Steam edition)
Effective and last updated: 9 September 2026
BREYES (“the developer”) publishes the PC game CRUSH LOAD (“the game”) on Steam. This privacy policy applies only to the PC edition distributed on Steam. The Android edition is a separate build that contains advertising and analytics, and it is covered by its own privacy policy.
In short: this game collects no personal data and sends nothing to the developer.
There is no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no account. The developer operates no server for this game.
1. What the developer collects — nothing
The game does not collect any of the following, and the components that would do so are not present in the PC build.
| PC edition | |
|---|---|
| Advertising and advertising identifiers | None. No advertising component is included |
| Analytics or usage telemetry | None. No analytics component is included |
| Crash or error reporting | None. No crash reporting component is included |
| Accounts or sign-in | None. The developer operates no account system |
| Location | None. The game neither requests nor infers location |
| Device identifiers | None. The game creates and reads no identifier |
| Contacts, photos, camera, microphone | None. The game does not request them |
The game runs entirely on your own computer and uses the network for exactly one thing, described in section 3.
2. What is stored on your computer only
The game saves your progress and settings as files on your computer. Those files do not leave your machine (except through Steam Cloud, if you use it — section 4), and the developer never receives them.
| File | Contents |
|---|---|
<home>\.prefs\crush-load-settings |
Settings (language, volume, graphics), stage progress and unlocks, hangar upgrades and in-game currency, feats and codex state, best records, how many daily bonus crates have been opened today |
<home>\.prefs\crush-load-display |
Window size and whether the game runs fullscreen |
On Windows, <home> is normally C:\Users\<your name>.
These files contain no name, e-mail address or identifier that could single you out. To delete them, remove the files or uninstall the game. The game then starts as it does on a first run.
3. The one thing the game does over the network
The title screen carries a link to this privacy policy. Following it makes the game hand the address of this page to your default web browser. The game attaches nothing to that request and receives no response. What happens next is between your browser and whoever hosts this page, and that host may keep its own access logs.
The game connects to the network for no other purpose. It does not auto-update, report usage, or check remote configuration.
4. What Steam (Valve) processes
The game is sold, installed and launched through Steam. In doing so, Valve Corporation (“Valve”) processes information connected to your Steam account — your purchase, installation, launches and playtime among them — and that processing is governed by Valve's privacy policy, not by the developer's.
The game uses these Steam features:
- Steam Achievements — feats you complete are recorded against your Steam account. Valve stores that record.
- Steam Cloud — the save files in section 2 are kept on Valve's servers, tied to your Steam account, so a run can be continued on another computer. Valve stores them, and you can turn the feature off per game in the Steam client's settings.
What the developer sees through Steam is aggregate figures only — units sold, refund rate, playtime distribution, the percentage of all players who have unlocked each achievement. None of it identifies an individual, and the developer has no access to any individual player's Steam account details, achievement record, or cloud save.
Valve describes its own processing here:
5. Sharing and international transfers
The developer shares no personal data with anyone and transfers none across borders — there is none to share, because none is collected.
Valve's processing described in section 4 is between you and Valve, under the terms and privacy policy you accepted in order to use Steam.
6. Your rights
The developer holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing held by the developer to access, correct, or erase. What you can do instead:
- Game data on your computer — delete the files in section 2, or uninstall the game. It takes effect immediately and needs no request or approval from the developer.
- Anything tied to your Steam account (achievements, cloud saves, playtime) — use Valve's account and privacy controls, or contact Valve.
If you have a question about this policy or about how the game handles data, write to the address in section 9. Where the information is not held by the developer, we will say so and point you to whoever does hold it.
7. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in their country. The developer collects no personal data from players of any age, and therefore none from children.
8. Security
The files the game writes live in your own user profile and contain nothing that identifies you. Because the developer stores no player information, there is no store of player information on the developer's side to be breached.
9. Contact
- Developer and data protection contact: BREYES
- Game: CRUSH LOAD (PC · Steam edition)
- Country: Republic of Korea
- E-mail: moondefenceop@gmail.com
Players in the Republic of Korea may also contact the Korea Internet & Security Agency's privacy report centre (118, privacy.kisa.or.kr) or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (1833-6972, kopico.go.kr). Players in the EU, the EEA or the UK may lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this policy
This document records what the game actually does, and if the game changes, this document changes first.
If the game ever gains analytics, crash reporting, or any other feature that processes player information, the developer will update this policy before that feature is switched on and will obtain prior consent where the law requires it. Any such feature will ship turned off, and nothing will be sent unless you turn it on.
Updated versions are published on this page with their effective date. Changes that materially affect your rights will also be announced in the game or on the Steam store page.
This privacy policy takes effect on 9 September 2026.
